We then proceed to visit Banteay Samre, constructed in the third quarter of the 12th century. This temple complex consists of a central temple with four wings, preceded by a hall and accompanied by two well-preserved libraries, particularly the southern example. Enclosed by two concentric walls, the ensemble exudes grandeur. Our next stop is Ta Prohm, one of the area's most enchanting temples. Left relatively untouched since its discovery, Ta Prohm retains much of its mystical attraction.

In the afternoon, we head to the village of Kampong Pluk, renowned as the most beautiful village on Tonle Sap Lake. Serving as a natural tourism spot and a haven for hundreds of species of freshwater fish and birds, this village is adorned with ethnic stilted houses that line the water's surface and extend into the air. Primarily inhabited by Khmer residents, the village is home to approximately 3000 inhabitants, most of whom live in stilted houses.
