4 days Ha Giang Motorbike Loop

Take an unforgettable adventure through the most spectacular mountain passes in Vietnam. With lush valleys and friendly locals we will discover the spirit of North East Vietnam Hagiang on a small group motorbike adventure
Day 1: Hanoi / Hagiang / Hiking / Spend the night in a local family
Depart Hanoi at 6am by bus, we head to Hagiang. Upon arrival we pick you up and bring you to our local homestay for having lunch. This is followed by a leisurely hike through peaceful ethnic villages and along picturesque rice terraces. Returning to our and friendly hospitable local family for the night (Lunch and dinner are included)
Day 2: Hagiang / Dong Van / Spend the night in a local family
This morning we set off to motorcycle due to east to the Bac Sum pass. En route we drop by the Quan Ba heaven gate, then the twin mountains of Quan Ba and the pass of Can Ty. Arriving in Yen Minh we see sculptured rice terraces and eat lunch in a local restaurant.
The rest of the afternoon is spent passing by the Tham Ma pass and the 09 Circles Pass. Late in the day we descend to a local family in Dong Van for the night (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included)
Day 3: Dong Van / Meo Vac / Du Gia / Spend the night in a local family
We breakfast and depart Dong Van for a short drive to the pass of Ma Pi Leng. Here, we hike and trek along towering mountains and through ethnic Hmong villages. Afternoon finds us journeying to Meo Vac then onto Mau Due, a beautiful area. Here we find a local restaurant for having lunch.
Next we head to Ngam La, home to beautiful rice terraces. En route we drop by the ancient French fortress in Duong Thuong, the Lung Ho viewpoint and why not the Du Gia waterfall. The night is spent in a friendly and hospitable local Tay family (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included)
Day 4: Du Gia / Hagiang / Board a bus to Hanoi
We take an easy stroll around the village of Du Gia before embarking our journey to the village of Lung Tam. We see the ancient opium valley in Duong Thuong and appreciate the Duong Thuong viewpoint.
Arriving in Hagiang we board a bus departing Hagiang at 4pm to Hanoi, arriving there at 9:30pm. The trip is complete upon arrival (Breakfast and lunch are included)
Physical activities:
Easy hiking with:
- a 7-9 km hike on Day 1.
- a 2-4 km hike on Day 2.
- a 4-6 km hike Day 3.
- a 2-3 km hike on Day 4.
From July to September, the climate is usually humid and hot. From October to June brings cooler and more pleasant weather.
Transport:
- bus.

Accommodation:
- homestays (3 nights).
Clean and comfortable homestays with mosquito nets provided.
Meals:
- 4 breakfasts.
- 4 lunches.
- 3 dinners.
We choose local ingredients, typical of the way people eat in the area, at local restaurants, markets or homes. We also cater for Vegetarians but please request this at time of booking.
Trip cost:
- $295USD per person for a group of 2 people.
- $198USD per person for a group of 4 to 12 people.

What to take:
Pack essentials for 4 days away from Hanoi, including light comfortable clothes suitable for outdoor activities, comfortable hiking shoes.
Take a small day pack for hiking.
It is essential to bring your passport on this trip.
