1 day Bach Ma National Park
 

Bach Ma National Park, one of the biggest and most important protected areas in Vietnam, boasts vast and untapped eco-tourism potential. The park covers nearly 37,500ha across nine communes and two towns in Thua Thien-Hue province’s Phu Loc and Nam Dong districts, as well as Quang Nam’s Dong Giang district.

Departing from your hotel between 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM we journey to Bach Ma National Park. The park is characterized by lush tropical forests and the majestic Bach Ma Mountain, which reaches an elevation of 1,450 meters. The dense foliage and diverse plant life create a vibrant green landscape. The park features several beautiful waterfalls, including the prominent Do Quyen Waterfall, which cascades from a height of about 300 meters. There are also serene lakes like the Five Lakes, where we can rest and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

En route we'll stop at Cau Hai Lagoon to take stunning photos and learn about the life in the local fishing village. We will then continue to the Visitor Center near the park entrance. Here, you'll receive a brief introduction to Bach Ma National Park, including its biodiversity and conservation efforts. You'll also see various samples and pictures of the park's wildlife.

Next, you will explore Bach Ma Summit, which is 1,450 meters above sea level. Here, you will visit Hai Vong Dai, also known as the Sea Watching Tower, is a prominent attraction within Bach Ma National Park, known for its breathtaking panoramic views. Here you can enjoy panoramic views of the mountains, lagoons, and villages, including Lang Co Beach, Hai Van Pass, Truoi Lake, Cau Hai Lagoon, and Chan May Port.

After visiting Hai Vong Dai, the car will take you to the parking area at kilometer 17. From there, you will continue to explore the Five Lakes, ranging from Lake No. 1 to Lake No. 5.  The Five Lakes in Bach Ma National Park are a series of picturesque lakes. Each of the five lakes boasts clear, cool waters surrounded by lush greenery. The pristine nature of the lakes. The lakes are connected by small streams and waterfalls, creating a series of cascades that add to the beauty and tranquility of the area. The sound of flowing water enhances the peaceful atmosphere.


After that, you will trek to Do Quyen Waterfall, a beautiful and majestic waterfall in the national park. Do Quyen Waterfall is about 300 meters in height. From the top of the waterfall, you will have a stunning view of the water cascading over the rocks, the forest below, and the clouds in the sky.

For an added adventure, you can descend to the foot of the waterfall by navigating over 600 steps. While it may sound like a challenging trek, it is perfect for those looking to push themselves. The breathtaking view of the waterfall from its base is worth the effort. As the afternoon draws to a close, we will make our way back to Hue City, arriving around 5 PM. (Lunch is included)
