4 days Bai Tu Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay, Halong Bay & Cat Ba Island Discovery


Day 1: Hanoi / Bai Tu Long Bay

Departing from Hanoi between 8:00 am to 8:30 am to Bai Chay, the gateway to Bai Tu Long Bay. Upon arrival, we embark on a boating adventure, gliding through the serene waters of Bai Tu Long Bay. Discover hidden coves and towering karst formations as we explore this pristine marine landscape. Our journey continues to Cap La, where we have the opportunity to embark on a kayaking excursion. Paddle through crystal-clear waters, marveling at the beauty of the surrounding limestone cliffs.


As the sun begins to set, we make our way to Cong Do, where we will spend the night aboard our comfortable boat. Relax on the deck and soak in the tranquil atmosphere as you enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by our onboard chef. Fall asleep to the gentle lapping of the waves, surrounded by the beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay. (Lunch and dinner are included)

Day 2: Bai Tu Long Bay - Lan Ha Bay

After a serene night spent on the boat in Cong Do, we wake up to the stunning vistas of Bai Tu Long Bay. Our journey continues as we make our way to Vung Vieng floating village, a captivating community built on the waters of the bay. Explore the village and learn about their traditional way of life. Next, we head back to Bai Chay, where our adventure in Bai Tu Long Bay comes to an end. From there, we make our way to Lan Ha Bay.

Upon reaching the wharf at Cai Beo, we'll step aboard a beautiful and traditionally-decorated Vietnamese junk boat, blending traditional decor with modern comforts. We set sail into the enchanting waters of Lan Ha Bay. In the afternoon, we’ll venture off the boat to explore the Ho Ba Ham. This hidden gem, known as the "three tunnel lakes," is a scenic and secluded spot nestled within Halong Bay. Ho Ba Ham boasts shallow lagoons embraced by towering limestone cliffs, accessible by kayak only through low-ceiling tunnels.

Weather permitting, we’ll be able to go for a swim in the clear and emerald waters. As the day comes to an end, we'll leisurely cruise along the bay, witnessing the sunset painting the landscape with warm colour. This evening’s dinner is sure to be memorable, as we will dine on the deck of the boat. Afterwards, we have the option to try squid fishing (seasonal) or kayak amidst the bioluminescent plankton in the bay. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 3: Lan Ha Bay - Halong Bay - Cat Ba National Park - Viet Hai Village

As the sun gently rises over the tranquil waters of Lan Ha Bay, we awaken to another day of adventure. Enjoy a light breakfast before boarding our day boat bound for the neighboring marvel of Halong Bay. Renowned as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Halong Bay's breathtaking beauty is unmatched. Navigate through a maze of stunning limestone islands, karsts, and caves, immersing ourselves in the spectacular scenery. A leisurely kayak ride offers a close-up to the majestic landscape.

Our journey continues towards Bai Tu Long Bay, where a different route awaits us. As the day draws to a close our journey continues with an exploration of Viet Hai, a former fishing village nestled amidst lush jungle and surrounded by the towering peaks of Cat Ba National Park, situated in karst-studded Lan Ha Bay.

Here, we'll have the opportunity to stretch our legs as we cycle along verdant limestone mountains, exploring the village along the way. Upon arrival, we check in to our peaceful lodge nestled in the village, surrounded by spectacular mountains and lush rainforest. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included)


Day 4: Viet Hai Village - Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi
 

Cat Ba National Park is home to verdant jungle, nestled in the karst-studded Lan Ha Bay. It boasts rich ecosystem diversity and high biodiversity, harboring many rare and precious plant and animal species, along with distinctive landscapes. After breakfast, we embark on an exploration of Cat Ba National Park, hiking into its heart and continuing onto Navy Peak. The karst mountains offer stunning vistas, with a fantastic view from the lookout.
 

Next, we'll board our awaiting boat to float through the enchanting floating village of Beo. Witness the traditional fishing practices of the villagers as they live atop emerald waters, surrounded by magnificent limestone karst formations. Around noon we leave the bay behind and commence our journey back to Hanoi, arriving at your hotel around 5 pm. (Breakfast and lunch are included)
